Whether Breville Oracle Touch Vs Delonghi Prima Donna is the best one depends in large part on your personal preferences. The temperature and amount of coffee you use in these machines and their quality and flavour are all dependent on your taste.
Depending on which machine you choose, you can change the milk temperature and texture to create even creamier lattes and cappuccinos. However, after you’ve spent years exploring different cafes, my favorite machine from Breville is the Oracle Touch, followed by the Prima Donna from DeLonghi.
On top of the improved system and refined coffee, it performs like a barista with quality in feel. Priming to be perfect for cougars who’d want an automatic drink maker that is hands-free and responsive, Prima Donna aims at being.

Breville Oracle Touch Vs Delonghi Prima Donna: Differences
Comparing Oracle Touch with Prima Donna, they simply cannot be reached. A super-automatic machine like Oracle Touch is an excellent option for entry-level applications. It has all the features necessary as well as looks stunning.
1. ESPRESSO QUALITY
The Winner: The Breville Oracle Touch
The Breville Oracle Touch espresso machine offers a portafilter espresso experience for beginners. Thanks to its touchscreen display and stainless steel dual boiler, it is fast, consistent, and intuitive.
You can drastically improve the espresso quality with the 58mm portafilter and the different adjustments you can make according to how strong or hot your coffee is.
Prima Donna coffee makers do not have portafilters, dosing, or tamping mechanisms. All you can see is the milk carafe and coffee spigot on the exterior. It grinds and doses the coffee from the inside, and what you see is only the result, which is a dark espresso shot infused with crema.
With the Oracle Touch, you can make espresso shots full of flavor and intensity, regardless of how much you drink.
This works for espresso beans and all new kinds of drinks! With a portafilter, automatic dosing, tamping, and shot extraction, the experience of using a portafilter is unlike that of the DeLonghi Prima Donna, which is clunky and unbarista-like.
2. DESIGN / APPEARANCE
The Winner: Breville Oracle Touch
The significant difference between Breville and DeLonghi has to do with their size and construction. The dimensions of the Breville are 15.4 x 14.7 x 17.9. It includes a stainless steel hopper that holds 12 pounds of beans, along with an 84-ounce water tank. This espresso machine is spacious and convenient, and it comes with ergonomic parts.
At first glance, it appears the DeLonghi has a narrower profile. This item has a 10-inch x 14-inch x 18-inch dimension. In terms of thickness and height, it is about five inches shorter but approximately the same in length. Oracle Touch has a larger water tank, which holds 2L. Although the bean container is smaller, the water tank holds 400g.
On top of the Breville is a bean hopper, and a water tank that you can refill from the top. DeLonghi stores its beans and water inside the machine, so nothing sticks out. The beans and water are easily accessed by lifting the lid.
The Oracle Touch offers more without the bulkiness of a larger water tank and a classy bean hopper that is cleverly designed.
3. MILK FROTHING
The Winner: Breville Oracle Touch
A steam wand on Breville Oracle Touch recreates the functionality of a barista-grade espresso maker. However, unlike the Prima Donna, the LatteCrema comes with an auto-milk carafe explicitly designed for lattes and cappuccinos.
The LatteCrema can create a vast range of milk-based espresso drinks, including those espresso lovers enjoy, such as latte, cappuccino, cafe latte, mocha, etc.
Compared to the Prima Donna, the Oracle Touch produced better milk results. You can steam varied types of milk and experiment with different steaming techniques. The adjustable settings for milk texture and temperature allow more flexibility for experimentation and improvements. You can easily decide if you prefer more foam or less foam in your cappuccinos.
The Prima Donna’s carafe has a removable cover and a quick cleaning function that is easily accessible. You can select from a range of milk settings, including cold milk foam, cappuccino, latte, hot milk, macchiato, cappuccino and latte mix, cafe latte, and a few others.
With the help of each feature or pre-set, the milk is frothed in a unique manner that creates a delightful milk-based beverage. It features a spout that directly pours milk into the carafe’s espresso cup. It creates a nice layer of espresso in your cup, along with hot milk and milk foam at the bottom, so you can enjoy sipping on it.
I have no complaints about the milk foaming function of the Prima Donna. However, the Oracle Touch makes the kind of authentic, smooth, and latte art-style milk that it claims to produce.
However, when you see how simple it is to make a cappuccino or a macchiato in minutes and automatically, you will fall in love.
4. CUSTOMIZED USER PROFILES
The Winner: Breville Oracle Touch
You can select five café-style drinks from the Breville Oracle Touch, and the brewer will automatically use Breville’s default settings. By adjusting the volume, strength, and temperature of espresso, you can create your drinks. It contains eight customizable profiles that you can modify and save as your own.
With the DeLonghi Prima Donna, you can create your recipes using the app with five different user profiles. You can change the water temperature for extraction, select the milk settings, and choose from 13 grinder settings. You can change oil amounts and filter types on this machine.
Breville Oracle Touch has the advantage of more customized profiles between the two machines and a simple touchscreen interface. It might be confusing to use the Prima Donna’s LCD display and buttons because it is not as advanced as the Oracle Touch.
Breville Oracle Touch Vs Jura Z8: Similarities
These espresso machines both operate automatically and are fully one-touch. Nonetheless, these machines are also a hybrid of semi- and super-automatic espresso machines.
You can order one of their pre-programmed coffee drinks, such as latte and cappuccino, and you will receive it.
In fact, the Oracle Touch requires more effort in that you must move the portafilter after it doses and tamps automatically before the espresso extraction can begin. You can then steam the milk by yourself using the stainless steel jug.
The Prima Donna features a milk carafe instead of the Oracle Touch’s jug. You can adjust the amount of milk stored and frothed through the touchscreen display. Alternatively, you can leave the machine with its default settings to brew you the perfect cup.
The Breville Oracle Touch and DeLonghi Prima Donna are similar in their burr grinders, temperature controls, shot volume controls, and stainless steel construction. Both machines make Americanos with hot water for steamy and intense drinks.
