Top 10 Mr. Coffee Makers 2020 – Reviews and Recommendations

Coffee is one of the drinks that bring many benefits to people.

However, instead of enjoying coffee at the coffee shop, everyone including coffee addicts or new drinkers often prefer to prepare their own delicious coffee from the nuts.

As a result, the demand for buying and using coffee machines is increasing. Let Republik Coffee Bar explore the top 10 Mr. Coffee coffee machines below to get more options for your purchasing.

#1 Mr. Coffee BVMC-PSTX95 10-Cup Optimal Brew Thermal Coffee Maker, Stainless Steel

This Mr. Coffee is a reasonably good-looking coffee machine, combining stainless steel with black and clear plastic.

The space required to use it [without moving it] is more significant, though, because of the carafe, reservoir, and filter/grounds basket.

To remove the water reservoir and the coffee basket, you need about 8′ of extra space because the coffee basket is so high on the machine

We appreciate that the water reservoir is removable. It makes it much easier to fill than that have the reservoir built into the device (this is especially useful for machines if you place it under other cabinetry).

It is straightforward to fill the reservoir, add the coffee filter and coffee, and set up the clock and delay timer.

A full pot of coffee measures about 177F just after completing the brewing process, and decrease about 5.4F/hr.

This means after seven hours, the coffee in the carafe is still at 139F, even an acceptable temperature.

And because there is no hot plate (just a well-insulated thermal carafe), the coffee tastes just as good seven hours later (no burned coffee!).

The thermal carafe has a great design for keeping coffee warm but not burning your coffee.

You don’t need to add energy. It’s not the end of the world, but it reduces the flow rate, meaning you must be patient when pouring.

The percolating noises are not too loud, but if you’re trying to maintain a perfectly serene household, it may bother you.

Sometimes, you will feel a harsh and thick plastic smell that it took a long time to subdue.

But it is not deal, brewing and enjoying your coffee.

#2  Mr. Coffee Semi-Automatic Espresso and Cappuccino Maker | Café Barista, Silver

This semi-automatic coffee machine will be a game-changer for you. You will love the different settings for espresso/cappuccino/latte.

This machine makes the process simple enough to make a good cup throughout the day and not have too much maintenance in doing so.

You still need to clean out the puck, rinse your filter holder and grounds basket, and wipe the milk wand with each use.

Also, know that it continues dripping when done.

It is effortless to use and tastes great if you have freshly roasted beans and an excellent burr mill bean grinder set to fine for espresso.

Drip (store ground) coffee will not work well and is probably stale by the time you buy it from the shelf.

In order not to damage the drip holes on the filter holder, you should use a folded towel or better yet a silicone mat or cutting board for the press surface.

Beware that full “foam” setting (at the before 3 o’clock position) will overflow your large 10 oz. Coffee cup and run down into the drip tray.

So, is there anything that should be improved?

Oh yes. First, there was an indicator light letting you know when the water reservoir is low and needs to be filled.

Second, ALWAYS remember to aim the steamer spout into the cup or mug. It makes a huge mess if you forget and eave it pointing down.

This machine gives you better drinks (lattes!), at a much lower cost. Enjoy!

#3 Mr. Coffee Simple Brew 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, Black

It is a fundamental model coffee maker that makes decent coffee for a reasonable price.

The digital clock is bright and easy to read and program, and the buttons are big and bright.

Delay is the function that there are more and more people regarding it as an essential factor when choosing an ideal coffee maker, and of course, this machine acts delay significantly.

The whole top swings open to allow easy access to the filter and water compartments, which helps you not spill stuff, and the carafe has a wide top opening.

All of that is perfect. The one thing we find not as useful as it should be is the “strong brew.”

This pot doesn’t seem to brew as strong—it takes more coffee to get the same taste.

You can try using paper filters instead of the permanent one included, as it makes for more natural cleanup.

#4 Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Brew Strength Selector – BVMC-CJX31-AM

It is a perfectly acceptable coffee maker.

You put in the amount of water and coffee you need for your brew preference – strong or regular – push the button and away the process goes.

The brew time for a full pot is not long, and the pot does not make much noise during the brewing process.

But the chime which alerts you to the brew cycle being finished is very faint and hard to hear.

The warming plate keeps the coffee hot during the full two hours of the cycle. The machine automatically turns off after that amount of time.

You can stop the brewing process before the entire pot has brewed if you want to get a cup of coffee as quickly as possible and you can set the timer the night before having coffee brewed and ready when you get up in the morning.

You pull out the plastic basket to empty the used coffee grounds and you can check how much water is in already in the pot by watching the water window on the side of the machine.

The manual which comes with the pot says you can use a water filtration system and a Mr. Coffee brand permanent filter with this pot, but if you want it, you need an extra purchase because it is not included.

Whatever this Mr.Coffee maker is a beautiful, basic coffee pot which will get a lot of use in your home.

#5 Mr. Coffee Automatic Dual Shot Espresso/Cappuccino System

This espresso machine is worth every penny. It is super easy to set up and use.

Also, after you turn it on, it takes virtually no time for it to be ready to start brewing (maybe less than 1 minute) or for the frothing arm to be prepared to steam.

You can use the frothing arm to warm up coffee or milk if you don’t want to froth since it releases hot steam.

On the plus side, with this one, you can control precisely how much milk you can froth or heat.

Primarily, you can also use the machine to heat water fast if you want to make tea and don’t want to buy an electric kettle (although kettles boil the water in the same amount of time).

There are a few things that need to be changed in this model.

First, the frothing arm could be a little longer, some frothing pitchers are tall, and if you just want to froth/warm up a little of the milk, the arm won’t reach down too far so you have to fill up the pitcher with more milk than you’ll use, which is a waste.

And you have to twist the filter basket hard to get it to lock, which brings concern with durability (the basket is stainless steel).

But the locking mechanism in the espresso machine might be of a softer material that could wear out over time, especially if you make coffee several times a day).

Auto shut off feature is necessary because you can forget to turn it off. So the coffee would burn, the heating pad would burn.

So you especially like that feature since it makes it much safer. And honestly, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee! Which is once of the most important things!

#8 Mr. Coffee One-Touch CoffeeHouse Espresso Maker and Cappuccino Machine

The design of Mr. Coffee One-Touch CoffeeHouse is pretty slim. It takes up no more room to place.

It’s super easy to load the water and milk for drinks. It’s effortless to program, with two settings apiece for espresso, lattes, & cappuccinos.

It also has manual settings for espresso and frothed milk. It makes creating your drink to taste so simple.

You can choose a preprogrammed setting, manual setting, or a combination of the two.

And to top it all off, the machine is SO easy to clean. There is even a cleaning setting for the frother. Seriously smart design because cleaning steamed milk out of and off of a metal tube is no joke.

Some other great design features make the unit easy to clean. The water and milk tanks slide off, the drip tray slides off and can be taken apart.

The filters are also easy to clean too. The brew head is the most challenging bit to clean, because it doesn’t detach in any way, but a couple swipes inside with a white cloth will readily tell you if there is any residual coffee left behind.

The porta-filter & both (single & double) filters are of good, sturdy quality.

Everything on the unit is of good quality. There is a fair amount of plastic, but it’s all sturdy.
